Mendip Council and Partnering

Quadron operates the grounds maintenance contract for Mendip District Council on a partnering basis and has been working with Mendip since 1995.

Profit Share

Under the open book accounting and profit sharing arrangements which typify Quadron’s partnering agreements, Gregg Poulter, our Finance Director, was able to pass a cheque for several thousands of pounds to the council as their share of the profit.

“Although modest” said Gregg “ this represents profit after all the heavy start up costs during the early days of the contract. With these now out of the way I am hopeful that it will be an even more substantial sum next year”.

Committed

From the Mendip Council point of view, Rob Thurston, Service Manager, commented: “This is the first of a new style of contract that we are keen to pursue which involves close co-operation and partnership. Quadron under this arrangement have shown themselves to be committed to providing high quality services in Mendip. Our shared goal is to provide a flexible high quality service that can respond effectively to changing community needs”.
