client: Somerfield KwikSave PLC
The challenge: A 5 year contract for facilities management for Somerfield
PLC covering some 315 stores geographically covering just south of Edinburgh through North East England, Yorkshire, the Midlands, East Anglia from Norfolk / Suffolk to Oxfordshire through to Essex and just inside the M25.
The project: Store Managers are able to call Quadron’s in-house
Helpdesk directly 24/7 365 days a year with their reactive maintenance
requests. Teams are allocated from our workforce to attend and resolve
the problem within given KPI's. Quadron carry out statutory and normal planned preventative maintenance (PPM) for each store
monthly, quarterly, six monthly or annually depending
on the task specification.
Quadron has 40 designated engineers positioned across the client’s
area to carry out normal PPM activities as well as responding to
requests for immediate assistance. This includes all building fabric, mechanical, electrical and air conditioning works using our own directly employed labour.
"We have successfully integrated with Somerfield's bespoke computer job tracking system allowing both parties to view the 'live time' status of any job in progress or completed and the check that stringent contract Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) are adhered to" said Steve Price, Operations Director.
On larger jobs, fixed price quotations are sent direct to the Regional Maintenance Managers via this bespoke system ensuring open book price transparency developed through the excellent working relationship we have built with Somerfield. Quadron's workforce is charged with the same level of ownership as Somerfield personnel enabling us to actively work together in identifying and resolving problems before thay become an issue.
Our relationship is viewed on both sides as “a partnership”
with a great deal of time and effort being expended to date on making
sure it is a success.
